Sanderling Bed and Breakfast
Sanderling is a family run Bed & Breakfast and is located on the Rock Road, just up the road from the bottom of Rock. It is a family run bed and breakfast offering spacious and comfortable rooms with king size leather beds. We are in a quiet location with rural views and off road parking and have the added advantage that we are open all year round. The rooms are self-contained and have private dining with a private fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

Tulip Room: Ground floor master bedroom, en-suite bath with shower over and bidet. Large patio doors leading to garden.
Pebbles Room: Tranquil room over a large detached double garage with ensuite shower room.
Tariff: From £70 per night for two people sharing.
Singles can be accommodated and children’s beds can be added to rooms, please telephone for price.
There is also an option of room only if multiple nights are booked.

Rock Beach on the Camel Estuary is a paradise for water lovers, offering sailing, water-skiing, fishing and bird watching trips. The ferry and evening water taxi can be taken from Rock to Padstow, a small yet bustling historic fishing town across the estuary. Padstow has many shops, bars and restaurants on its harbour front and narrow streets, including Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant.
Around from Rock is Daymer Bay, a safe family beach with superb windsurfing and kite surfing. Body boarding and surfing at Polzeath is excellent and safe, with lifeguards patrolling the beach in the daytime for much of the year.
The local golf clubs, St. Enodoc and Roserrow, are only a short drive away. Both can also be easily reached on foot for interesting walks. St. Enodoc golf course was designed by James Braid with undulating fairways, firm greens and some blind shots so requires accuracy and courage. Roserrow is an 18 hole course and has a covered driving range.
Walking can be a gentle stroll along the beach or along the South West Coast path. Cycle down the peaceful and beautiful Camel Trail.
