Bude & North Cornwall, Burn View, Bude

A challenging 18 hole links course located in the centre of Bude with fabulous views of the sea, playable throughout the year off regular tees and greens. Golf buggies, electric trolleys, practice ground, bar and catering facilities available. Well stocked Pro Shop and tuition can be arranged for groups or individuals. Handicap may be required.


Budock Vean, Helford Passage, Mawnan Smith, Nr. Falmouth

A challenging 9 hole,18 tee golf course with the first tee a few steps from the hotel's golf bag room all set in mature parkland overlooking the Helford River and originally designed by five times Open Winner, James Braid. The seventh was until recently the longest par 5 in Cornwall and the ninth green, 'The Flower Bowl' is one of the finest short holes in Cornwall. A good course to play all year and is rarely closed by bad weather. Handicap not essential.


Cape Cornwall Golf & Leisure, St. Just, Penzance

A par 69 natural course with challenging holes and stunning views along the rugged coastline of Cornwall over farmland and along the cliff tops. Designed by Bob Hamilton it has undulating fairways, a sunken garden and Cornish mine-shafts to negotiate. Open and playable all year round with Stay & Play available. Buggy Hire available and no handicap certificate needed.


Carlyon Bay Hotel Golf Course

An 18 hole championship golf course with the first nine holes along the cliff top and with fabulous views over St. Austell Bay with five PGA professionals on hand to give you all the information you need. The golf course is complimentary to guests staying at the hotel and golf lessons can be arranged for players of all standards and handicaps. Golf buggies and equipment available for hire and a visit to the Golf Club is a must.


China Fleet Golf & Country Club, Saltash

An 18 hole parkland golf course located amongst 180 acres alongside the River Tamar in the beautiful Cornish countryside desiged by Dr. Martin Grant Hawtree. Driving Range, Indoor Golf Simulator, Practice Greens, Golf Shop and lessons are all available on site with video technology to add to your teaching experience. Handicap certificate required


Clowance Golf Club, Praze an Beeble, Camborne

A private course for customers staying in the holiday accommodation. An 18 tee, 9 hole par 65 parkland course with ten greens and alternate tees for the 'back' nine set in 97 acres of beautifully landscaped parkland and woodlands and is part of the Clowance Estate between Falmouth and St. Ives. A challenge for players of all levels of ability, skills, ages and handicaps. Golf-View apartments to complete your stay.


Falmouth Golf Club, Swanpool Road, Falmouth

Falmouth Golf Club is a mature and established par 72 golf course which winds its way along the Cornish cliff tops with views across Falmouth Bay and welcomes visitors and socities. It caters for all levels of golfer, from the beginner up. There is a fully stocked golf shop and with PGA golf professional, Nick Rogers, on hand to offer advice and tuition. There is a modern clubhouse with a resident chef and friendly atmosphere. No handicap requirements but dress code applies and knowledge of golf etiquette.


Greenacres Short Golf, Chenhalls Road, St. Erth, Hayle

Greenacres Short Golf Course has 9 and 18 holes ranging in length from 75 to 205 yards which is open throughout the year from 9am until dusk. You will be supplied with a half set of golf clubs in a bag, ball tees, score card & pencil with optional trolley hire. Clubs are available for children from 5 years of age upwards and also left-handed clubs are available. A range of refreshments are available,a pool table in the Club house and a range of golfing equipment in the shop. A perfect location for a fun round of golf for all levels and well behaved dogs on leads.


Hoburne Doublebois, Dobwalls, Nr. Liskeard

A Holiday Park with timber lodges set in 64 acres and has its own beautifully maintained 9-hole par 31 golf course. Visiting golfers welcome. No handicap required.


Holywell Bay Golf Course, Nr. Newquay

An 18-hole, short, challenging par 3 Golf Course with coastal views overlooking Holywell Bay beach and the beautiful Gull Rocks. An entertaining and competitive course for golfers of all standards. Also an 18-hole Pitch & Putt course, considered to be the best in the County, sensibly distanced fairways, well-kept greens and a famous cliff-hanging 17th hole. Both courses are open all year and suitable for golfers at every level. Woody's Bar & Restaurant open from Easter to October and also a Golf Shop which sells a range of golfing products. No handicap required.


Isles of Scilly Golf Club, St. Mary's

The most south westerly course in England and must be seen if you are visiting St. Mary's. Open all the year to members and non-members with clubhouse for drinks, fresh home-cooked food and a large balcony to take in some of the best panoramic views of the Islands. Even if you don't play golf you will still be welcome at the Golf Club. A challenging course with superb greens and a length of 5941 yards with a par of 73, eighteen hole competitions means playing the nine holes from 18 tees. Clubs, trolleys and buggy hire available together with a detailed course planner, practice ground and golf tuition if required. Handicap may be required.


Ivyleaf Golf Course & Driving Range, Haystax, Stratton, Bude

The course is situated between Bude and Kilkhampton just off the A39 with the finest view of any 9 hole parkland course in Cornwall. On a hilltop in an area of outstanding natural beauty with views from Trevose Head to Bude, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. 7-bay flood lit under cover Driving Range which also has fabulous views. A par 32, 9 holes which is an ideal beginner's course and many single handicaps can enjoy a challenging game. No handicap required, open 7 days a week with club & trolley hire available, tuition sometimes available.


Killiow Park Golf Club, Playing Place, Nr. Truro

An 18 hole course set in the grounds of historic Killiow Estate and is a challenging course for golfers of all standards. There are 3 par 5s, 4 par 3s and 11 par 4s making 6124 yards off the white tees and 5440 yards from the Ladies Tees with water hazards and mature trees. A 6 bay floodlight, indoor Driving Range and 4 outdoor bays is available. Licensed clubhouse and restaurant and no handicap requirements.


Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf Course, Bodmin.

The Lanhydrock Course is owned and managed by the Bond family, who created the Jack Nicklaus Course at St. Mellion and is an 18 hole parkland course ready to entice, tease and reward you. A Driving Range is available with 6 covered bays and two grass area practice tees plus a 9 hole practice putting green. The Golf Club has a brand new fitness suite and accommodation with a family owned golf hotel and restuarant. Handicap certificate required.


Launceston Golf Club, St. Stephens, Launceston

A friendly members Club situated just off the A30 with views over Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor and of Launceston itself. A 6385 yard par 70 parkland course offering a challenging round for all standards of golfers. The Ladies course is 5682 yards, par 73. Members club with excellent catering facilities where you can relax and watch the golfers coming down the 18th hole. A well-stocked Pro shop is available and a handicraft certificate is required.


Looe Golf Club, Bindown, Looe

A heath and parkland course designed by six times Open Champion, Harry Vardon, with views of the Cornish coast and countryside. An 18-hole course which measures 5940 yards and gives all abilities an excellent test. Visitors welcome, trolley hire, buggy hire, scoreboard available and the 19th hole is the Clubhouse with well stocked bar and hot and cold food served seven days a week. A good knowledge of golf etiquette and reasonable dress standard is required.


Merlin Golf & Country Club, Mawgan Porth, Nr. Newquay

An easy walking full 18 hole heathland course offering a different challenge at each hole with coast and countryside views. Also available is a 6 covered bay driving range, buggy hire and full bar & catering facilities. New modern pro-shop stocking major brands and extensive selection of new and quality used clubs. For the Spring and Summer of 2014 Karl Morgan is available for lessons at Merlin. Luxurious accommodation is also available.


Mullion Golf Club, Cury, Helston

A 6053 yard off the white tees par 70 challenging 18 hole course and as with all coastal courses wind is a significant factor but with fabulous views as it is the most southerly course in England. The Club offers fine food with local ales and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Handicap certificate required.


Newquay Golf Club, Tower Road, Newquay

An 18 hole Links Golf Course suitable for everyone from beginners to serious golfers and is open all the year round. It measures 6141 yards off the Blue Tees and is a challenging but also rewarding course and overlooks Fistral Beach. Its par 69 course is renowned for having some of the best greens in the county will some well placed bunkers but also needs accuracy. Newquay has hosted many County events and produced a fair number of County Champions. A fully-stocked Pro Shop caters for all your needs including trolley hire, club re-gripping, installation of custom fitted shafts, replacement of soft or metal spikes and expert advice and customer service from knowledgeable staff. Handicap certificate required.


Perranporth Golf Club, Budnic Hill, Perranporth

A challenging and well-maintained championship golf course designed by James Braid with natural contours of the landscape and each hole has its own demands and character which are fast and true together with glorious coastal views. 6296 yards par 72 course is a challenge for high and low handicaps. Buggy Hire is available and also has a spacious bar and restaurant with the Sunday Carvery a firm favourite but please book early. Derek Michell is the experienced coach who will teach you in the state-of-the-art academy where there is a Foresight Sports GC2 simulator and then a full-length outdoor practice area where you can practice what you have just learnt. Handicap certificate may be required.


The Point at Polzeath, St. Minver

An 18 hole course located just above the Camel Estuary with spectacular views of Pentire Point, Newland Island and Polzeath Beach. The course has recently undergone a major revamp and investment programme and is now an emerging gem. A challenge for all standards and is just short of 7000 yards off the black tees. A new 5-6 bay driving range is available together with a restaurant offering full meals or just a snack and again with superb views. Maybe the only golf club in the country with its own landing strip for aeroplanes, oh! and you can bring your dog! No handicap required but golfing attire is compulsory.


Porthpean Golf Club, Porthpean, St. Austell

An 18 hole challenging course with the front nine set in parkland setting which borders Penrice Woods and distant views of rural Cornwall, with the back nine overlooking the lovely St. Austell Bay. This course offers unique challenges demanding the skills of power, placement and fine judgement for the discerning golfer - a true test for all levels of golf. A welcoming Clubhouse is next to the 1st Tee and 18th green, also with views of St. Austell Bay, and is well stocked and their 'Cornish Cream Tees' are a firm favourite. Trolleys and Buggies available for hire. A knowledge of golf etiquette required.


Radnor Golf & Leisure, Radnor Raod, Treleigh, Redruth

A 9-hole 18 tee affiliated golf course for members and pay-and-play visitors and a 9 bay, half enclosed, floodlit driving range with a variety of targets. The golf course is professionally designed playing as 18 par 3's for men and 3 par 4's for ladies and the greens are composed of fescue grass with a sand base making for a quick, true, well drained putting surface all the year round. A relaxing Club House with 40 covers and a Pro Shop supplying all the necesseties for a game. Professional tuition is available but must be booked in advance, club and trolley hire service also available. Handicap certificate required.


St. Austell Golf Club, Tregongeeves Lane, St. Austell

A challenge for golfers of all levels this 18-hole, 6042 yard par 69 parkland course designed by James Braid is situated just outside St. Austell and has fabulous countryside views. Floodlit Driving Range with 8 covered and 3 outdoor bays which is the ideal place for beginners to get the feel for the sport and is open from 8.30am to 9.30pm every day of the year. The club has installed GASP video golf coaching system and flight scope launch monitor in their high-tech teaching and club fitting studio and lessons are also available. The Pro Shop holds high quality golfing equipment and either Tony Pitts or Russell Binney are available 7 days a week to help with your enquiries or to book them for coaching. The Club House is open 7 days a week offering snacks, homemade cakes, light lunches or meals and has a well positioned bar overlooking the 9th and 18th holes. Handicap certificate may be required


St. Enodoc Golf Course, Rock, Nr. Wadebridge

A course with undulating fairways, firm greens, some blind shots and ranked 99th in the World by Golf Digest and currently 39th in Great Britain and Ireland by Golf World. St. Enodoc is to host the English Women's Amateur Championships in July 2014. The Church Course, designed by James Braid, is an 18 hole, 9557 yards and is restricted to golfers with handicaps of 24 or below for Men and 28 or below for Ladies. Handicap certificates are essential. The Holywell Course is 4082 yards and no restrictions on handicap apply. The use of buggies are not permitted unless circumstances are exceptional and a medical certificate produced. Caddies can be arranged with advance notice. Dress code in the clubhouse and on the golf course is required. The facilities include video tuition, GC2 Launch Monitor, covered bays, 2 putting greens and a short game practice area, all aspects of play and club fitting can be catered for. A comfortable Clubhouse with bar and dining facilities is available and a Pro Shop selling a wide selection of clothing and equipment.


St. Kew Golf Club, St. Kew Highway, Bodmin

A 9 hole 18 tee 4550 yard exacting course with superb greens and fairways and 4,000 mature trees which is open throughout the year. Clubs, buggy and trolley's are available for hire and there is a covered driving range and putting green with a chip practise area next to the Club house. No handicap requirements.


St. Mellion International Resort, Saltash

The course that Jack built - An excellent 18 hole, par 72, 6,300 yard course designed by Jack Nicklaus and in his words 'I knew it was going to be good, but not this good - it's everything I had hoped for and more... St. Mellion is potentially the finest golf course in Europe' and it sure is tough with no easy holes. The Kernow Course has 18 holes par 70 and is just less than 6,000 yards and the Short Course, which is perfect for all the family, is a 5 hole short par 3 course, easy to play with a teeing area, shaped fairways and larger holes to give beginners confidence and there is no need to wear golf shoes on this course. The Pro Shop is one of the highest quality golf shops in the South West selling everthing you could possibly want and also custom fitting. The resort has a golf centered Hotel and recreation complex, conference facilities, health club, spa and one & two bedroomed Fairway self-catering Cottages. Handicap certificate required and dress code applies.


Tehidy Park Golf Club, Camborne

Tehidy Golf Course is a picturesque but challenging 18 hole par 71 parkland course with panoramic views of the countryside and is suitable for golfers at all levels. There are a number of tree-lined fairways and three lakes which have significant importance on your way around the course. Golf lessons from a friendly club professional with a proven track record are available and the Pro Shop sells a superb range of golf equipment, clothing and accessories. The Club house has fine views across the course with a bar, lounge and dining room offering superb homemade food.


Tregenna Castle, Trelyon Avenue, St. Ives

This 18 hole par 3 President's Golf Course has challenging narrow fairways and small greens with fabulous views over St. Ives, the surrounding coastline and it also surrounds Tregenna Castle Hotel. It is open to residents and non-residents of the hotel throughout the year. If you would like some coaching Wayne Graham is the resident PGA professional at the training academy at Hayle Golf Driving Range and during his amateur career represented Cornwall at all levels. He is currently a Cornwall County Academy Coach and works with Lee Westwood Acadamy which sees him nurturing Cornwall's up and coming young golfers. The putting green offers all sorts of different scenarios to improve your putting techniques. Equipment can be hired from the golf shop and the 19th hole is the Castle Bar and Brasserie. No handicap certificate required.


Treloy Golf Club, Newquay

Just five minutes drive from Newquay on the A3059 Newquay to St. Columb Major road a parkland 9 hole 2143 yards executive golf course designed by Bob Sandow with sculptured greens, American Pencross grass, extensive mouldings and bunkers. The course has tree lined fairways with countryside views and is made up of 5 par fours and 4 par threes and the quality of construction in the drainage means there is never any need to use temporary greens or tees. The Club house has plenty of seating, a well stocked bar, light snacks on offer, good sized changing rooms and facilities for ladies and men. The golf shop is also well stocked with an array of golf clothing, shoes, bags, clubs and sundries. Clubs, trolleys and a golf buggy are available for hire. There is a 9 bay covered driving range, ample parking and lessons available by appointment. No handicap required but dress code applies.


Trethorne Golf Club, Kennards House, Launceston

An 18 hole course measuring a challenging 6375 yards off the championship tees set in a parkland setting with rural views of Cornwall. Professional PGA Wayne Basford is on hand for any golf tuition you may require whatever your ability and the Pro Shop is stocked with a wide range of golf equipment, clothing and accessories with professional service. The Junior Academy runs a coaching programme on a Friday and Saturday with regular competitions on a Sunday. The Club house overlooks the 18th green and 1st Tee and boasts a welcoming and friendly well-stocked bar and restaurant, offering a wide selection of home-cooked food. The bar has a pool table, board games and Sky TV. There is Changing Rooms with full drying room facilites and the nearby Leisure Farm offers 8 lanes of Ten Pin Bowling & Dodgems. Buggies, Pull Trolleys and Electric Trolleys are all available for hire and dogs on leads and poo bags are welcome! There is a Ladies Section who meet on a regular basis for competitions and matches, and also for more informal events such as Coffee Mornings each month.


Trevose Golf & Country Club, Constantine Bay, St. Merryn, Nr. Padstow

Trevose offers three courses. The Championship Course was designed by Harry Colt and ranks as one of the top links golf courses in the British Isles. An 18 hole course is set out in keeping with most 'Colt' designs in two loops of 9 holes. The front 9 hugs the sand dunes and coastline giving spectacular views of the sea and coastline and the back 9 offers a different test of golf as you head inland and back towards the Club house. No two days are the same on this course with wide greens and generous fairways but beware of 'the wind'! The Course has four sets of tees offering different levels of difficulty. For this course Handicap certificates are required. The Headland Course opened by Peter Alliss has 9 holes, measures just over 3,000 yards and winds its way out to Trevose Head. Handicap certificates are not required. The Short 9 hole ourse provides an excellent test of golf for beginners and juniors and can be enormous fun. Handicap certificates not required. Driving range with covered bays, 16 hole putting green, golf lessons available by Gary Lenaghan, Golf Shop & Boutique offering all the latest equipment, clothing and accessories are available together with a play area for the children. The Club house has breathtaking views over the golf course and out to the Atlantic Ocean with a bar and 'The Links' Restaurant. All three courses expects a respectable standard of dress code at all times.


Truro Golf Club, Treliske, Truro

An 18 hole, par 67, 5339 yard mature parkland course in gently undulating and easy walking countryside populated by mature trees offering a challenging test for all with surprising slopes and borrows. There is a putting green, ample parking, a practice area and Golf Lessons available. The bar offers a wide range of beers, wines and spirits and restaurant offering bar snacks, sit down lunches and dinners together with a well-stocked Pro shop with the latest in golf attire. Club, trolley and buggy hire is available. Handicap certificate required.


West Cornwall Golf Club, Church Lane, Lelant, St. Ives

This West Cornwall Golf Club is the oldest club in Cornwall and Peter Alliss is a honorary life member who speaks very highly of the course and the warm welcome that awaits you. It has panoramic views, from almost every hole, of St. Ives Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse and has been moulded around the natural contours of the sand dunes that form part of the Hayle Estuary and Porth Kidney Sands. A true test of golf awaits you as the conditions can range from a light breeze to a strong wind but has excellent drainage and can be played on throughout the year. A family-friendly golf academy are integral parts of the Club as well as the bar and restaurant which caters for bar snacks or a-la-carte. The Pro shop is well-equipped near the first tee and whilst on the course normal standards of golfing attire are expected but in the bar and restaurant 'smart and casual' is accepted. West Cornwall has a thriving Ladies Section with their own separate pavilion and a wide selection of competitions which are organised throughout the year. Handicap certificates are required.


Whitsand Bay, Portwrinkle.

Whitsand Bay Golf Club is one of the most stunning cliff-top golf courses in Cornwall with distinctive and rolling fairways, it is an 18 hole course designed for the holiday and the serious club golfer. Professional golf tuition is available as well as clubs, motorised trolleys and buggies for hire. A well stocked Pro shop offers an excellent range of golfing attire and products. Suitable golfing attire is compulsory.
